February 13, 2013: It is possible for a self healing mat to be is so cut up it can’t heal itself anymore.

I’m going to try to keep this one short, for your sake and mine.

Woke up, went to the Slade, tried to upload pictures to blog as promised but WordPress said I ran out of space so I bought more space to please all you good good people with my pictures, then I ate a sandwich (sup Russie), then I took the the Tube to Old Street and went to Artwords and BookArtBookShop, two bookstores that one of my tutors suggested I have a look at given my appreciate for the book as art. Great decision. Spent at least an hour at BookArtBook Shop (didn’t get anything….) and 20 minutes at Artwords (got a book about the map in art). I was too cold and too tired to wander around East London so I decided to head back but then I saw an art supply store and bought not one but two self healing mats (A1 and A5 sizes). It was a good deal! And I signed up to win a 500 pound gift card to that art store. I hope I win. Can’t wait to go back to East London to explore Shoreditch, Spitalfields, etc. I loved the streets I walked (only 4)–they reminded me of Greenwich Village. Then I went back to the studio and cleaned up my area and cut paper for a while and shared the fudge I won yesterday with my studiomates on the condition that they give me the box back. They were happy to eat them. I was going to do my HiattChat shift from the studio but I was craving pasta so I went home. And now I’m here. I’ll let the pictures do the talking. I’m going to bed.
