Somehow I didn’t manage to get out of bed until noon. A few theories: 1) Late night. 2) Avoiding writing a grant proposal. 3) Avoiding making Paris plans. A winning combination.
Pulled myself out of bed. Dragged myself to Pizaza in Golder’s Green because I needed to get far away from places where I become complacent. So I bought a pizza and fries and wrote the grant proposal. Well, draft one, at least. Then I headed back home and booked a train to Paris, a centrally located hostel, and a bike trip to Monet’s Garden in Giverny. Also made a list of all the things I must do in my 4 and half days in Paris. Open to suggestions.
Dana and I went to Reuben’s to catch up over dinner, as it’s been a while since we were last roommates.
And now I’m on the couch, editing pictures. And slowly, slowly, uploading them for your viewing pleasure.
Don’t know what I’m doing tomorrow. Ah yes. Going to the Slade. Probably should check in there….
Oh yes and emailing people who might know carpenters in NYC (DO YOU, DEAR READER?) and planning Ireland.
